Tracking & Account Settings

Updated on July 24, 2026

Beyond just numbers, tracking creates awareness, which allows us to be proactive and uncover trends. Consistent tracking provides the information we need to stay motivated and on the right path. The goal of tracking is to make you more aware of what you’re eating and how much you’re eating, which can help double your weight loss efforts or lower your blood sugar.

It’s important to find a tracking method that works for you. For example, you could use a pen and paper, take a photo of your food, and log it when you have more time, etc. Feel free to experiment until you find a method that suits you.

Manual Activity

A manual activity is any physical activity or exercise you can add to your activity tracker for the system to calculate the total calories burned based on your metrics and duration. Select ‘track your activity’ and choose from thousands of available activities and exercises, and several offer differing intensity levels.

Set Your Calorie Goal

Your calorie goal is the number of calories you need to lose weight without feeling overly hungry. Each person’s body is different, so this number varies from person to person. This can be a trial-and-error process. Since you are working closely with a Health Care Provider who is monitoring your progress, have a conversation with them about a good, healthy, achievable goal.
